Blue Cross Bowl: Knox West vs Hillsboro

Though the styles are a bit different, this is the same Hillsboro of the "older brother's" generation. Anybody who paid attention during the 2000's knows how good Hillsboro can be when they are "up". And well, they are "up". They've allowed a whopping 35 points in their last 8 games combined, and 74 total since week 2. They are big, fast, and physical.

Knox West does have big play ability, and if they are physical enough, may pull out a win, but it will be a tall order, and I do not see them breaking 30 points against Hillsboro. They completely obliterated a 12-1 Ridgeway team tonight that was averaging well over 40 points a game, and they did it by a score of 35-7. It was the first time Ridgeway was held below 20 all year, and only the 2nd time they were held below 30. Long story short: Hillsboro's D is legit.

Hoping to see an exciting, injury-free game. Good luck to both teams!

From the stats of the game last night, it looks like Hillsboro can pass it........that doesn't bode well for West. I don't understand what they've been doing the past two games in the secondary.

They will not throw it a lot but are efficient, they will pass it 10-15 times tops but will only have 2-3 in-completions for big yards and probably a couple TDs or so. That plus they run the ball very effectively w/ Perry. AND yes their defense is definitely legit, 1 of the best in the state IMO.....

West is very good, this will be a very interesting 5A title game, looking forward to watching it.....
