Purple & Gold Standard
UC will have at least 12 seniors on the team with at least 13 juniors...Kids that have played a good bit of minutes...UC will still have some playmakers...Just because a team has some kids that you don't know their names doesn't mean they can't play...Some of these kids would have started on some other teams we played this year...#16 Gaston being one...He of course was senior...Anyway, linemen will have to develop...Those guys will get bigger and stronger in the weight room in the off-season...We will still have speed...Taj Reed, D'Carrious Stephens will be seniors...QB will be a big need...Cace Cook filled in just fine when Walton was hurt this season...Tashawn Allen, who was a freshman this season could be a huge factor next season...Some kids that played special teams will jump up into starting roles next season...You never know what kids will look like in a year..Weights, growth spurts etc... We won't be as dominant as the last two seasons but we won't be pushovers either...I wouldn't want to see us in the playoffs...
TheAmbassador
Young and rebuilding, another team will win 1A in 2015.They will still have older guys playing next season. They will take a dip no doubt, but as dominant as they were this season what's to say they can't take a big dip, but still compete.

Purple & Gold Standard
LoL...We all saw there was a huge difference between the #1 team and the #2 team this year...Even if we do drop some it still means we will be pretty dang good...Plus these seniors haven't been shy about the legacy they are leaving...Our players will be fine... wildcat89
Another thing to consider is it ain't that UC was better than everybody they played but that they were way better than everybody they played. UC was never in a close game all year, it's going to carry right over to next year!
BLACKFRIDAY
What will the 2 time defending state champions look like for 2015? Union City will be very good next year. The playing time the backups got this year will pay off in a big way. The big question is who will be tops in the district. Trenton and Dresden return a ton. Our district will be a murders row. Whoever survives will be the favorite for gold.....again!
MisterObjective
Biggest question about next year's team will be how they will restock the trenches. Its going to be ok. Backfield next year will have 3 seniors and one junior, receivers will be seniors, o-line will be about half senior and half junior. Defense will have all seniors at db, linebackers will probably be 2 seniors and 1 junior (this corps could turn out one of the best in the state), and the d-line will be seniors and juniors. There could be a sophomore or two that gets in the action on the line. Next year's team will have the speed and athleticism. We'll see what the next few months brings in strength. cactus10
Next year's team will be full of players with big time game experience. Been there , done that. They will have a mental advantage in most situations. No one will ever replace these past 2 years. The football gods have been good to union city. Purple & Gold Standard
Can kids transfer from OCC without penalty? Without a change of residency, no...They would have to sit out a calendar year...And if I remember correctly, the change of residency has to be more than a set number of miles...
