I just received my ballot from TSSAA for Miss Basketball awards.  Please tell me who you support in each class and division.  Provide stats and reason if possible.  Thanks in advance.

GPS Junior PG Akia Harris good select for Miss Tennessee Div. II AA. All state freshman and sophomore year. This year her junior year she is averaging 19 points 4.1 assist and city of Chattanooga steal leader at 4.9 steals a game.

Unbelievable!!!!! No Madison Heckert in Single A!?!? This is an absolute joke! Not only could she win Miss Basketball this year, at the least, she should have been nominated!

I don't want to misspeak here but I'm pretty sure tech wants her bad Belmont came to watch her the other night and also utc of course. I'm sure there are more that I don't know about I heard mtsu but I cannot confirm that for sure. It would really baffle me if she isn't a finalist

Austin Peay was at the Van Buren vs Jackson Co game. Pretty sure they were watching her, and Jackson Co's Allen.

Heckert plays for West Carroll who has led her team to 27-0. She has had a double-double in nearly every game. Has had two triple-doubles this year and scored her 1000th point this year.

 

Also, Myah Taylor being left off from Dyersburg is ridiculous as well. Unbelievable!

How did Hammaker make this list in AA this year? Would have made much more sense last year. There are many many more deserving in AA this year. What a shame. It's all political.
