What a disgrace to the game! The TSSAA needs to make this an elimination game to stop all this nonsense. It happens every year when you have a powerhouse in a District. It is not fair to the other #1 to have play a team that is clearly not a #4. Hope they both lose next game.

If Barrett was just trying to stay healthy and letting his back-ups play, it doesn't say much do his reserves. The videos I saw had a kid hitting the side of the backboard on a free throw and not stealing the ball when someone dribbled right at her. Barrett and Riverdale should be held accountable for this....

Make it an elimination game? Not a bad idea with top 3 going and 1's getting byes in first round of region. I actually like sending four but what I heard from this game was disgraceful. I don't think that will happen because this does not seem like a common occurrence. Or maybe it happens more than we think

They should disqualify both teams.

One video I saw showed the girl dribble to the backcourt to get a violation because the defender wouldn't take the ball from her. It does happen more than you think. T$$AA will not make it an elimination game because money is more important than integrity.

It's funny how they get way with everything but a little county might do something minor and get a huge penalty. The recruiting buzz about their school and coach, which has to have some truth or their wouldn't brave been that much buzz, then this deliberate attempt to lose a game. I bet nothing happens. What a bunch of cheats.

Total chess game. No rules were broken. The goal is to win the state tourney, and if not, to go as far as possible.  There are several roads that lead to the championship game.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice for Riverdale to lose in the first round of the Regional. If not, they will likely have to face Oakland in the semis.
