Decatur is in the state tournament for the first time in 42 years, and we see all these posts from some guy bashing one of the most knowledgable girls high schools sportsperson in west TN.

Congrats to Riverside on the win! BUT if they played Gibson Co 10 times, Gibson Co would win 8-9 of those games.  It was Riverside night, and they get to go to the glass house.

Have some pride, I mean 42 years? Congrats and 2057 is a long time from now....

High school is win or go home . it is irrevelent what you think would happen in ten game series. You win you move on or you lose and go home

I have to say you have been beyond a class act. Come celebrate a successful season with myself and KYTNGBB at the Double Tree. We hope to have GC Pioneer there as a guest speaker. lol

guest speaker lol!!!! That's pretty funny. I say we bring coachbob in as the guest speaker. It is surely to be epic if that happens, lol.

What Riverside did last night was very impressive. Gibsons gym was 3/4 full with Gibson fans going crazy. Riverside kept composure from the beginning to end and knocked us off. It was probably one of the most impressive sub-state appearances by a team that I've seen. 4 turnovers, 13-14 from the FT line.... Pretty impressive to say the least. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Riverside make a run at it in the 'boro. I definitely think they can knock off Oliver Springs.

I think Gleason is on the rise. Didn't know. If we improve this year like we did last, we will be hard to handle. We need a good point guard and that would solve a lot of our problems. Hopefully the Baird kid or Hayes or ? will step up this summer. We are running it by committee now and sometimes it bites us. I think there is more good Single A teams in West TN than AA. We would probably be in the Boro if we were AA this year.

And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few months back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

    • Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
