Another pipe dream thread going on here. If there are any changes to the coaching staff it will be yet another step backwards. Just look at the hires that have been made in the past three years. This whole thing in Kingsport is a total mess from top to bottom with everybody involved. The little leagues are still a joke full of so-called coaches that think it's about them. The middle school coaches are terrible to say the least. The athletic director at DB has all but destroyed all sports at the high school. Well the Bowling team is still pretty good. There will be no changes made and they will all be back next year to give you more of the same. Get use to it.

That's the one thing I noticed when I moved here from EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA.Is how everyone builds MVILLE up.And really no disrespect to MVILLE.Until someone can battle them on the field they should walk around like the BIG DOGS!!..Cause they are.But other teams seeming like they go though the motions when they play them is unlike anything I've ever seen.Every team can be beat, even MVILLE.But I think it's more of a mind thing instead of a talent one.Just my thoughts.

Now there I have to disagree. Maryville is very well coached and don't make many mistakes. That is why they are so good. Are they beatable, yes. Every team is beatable, and thinking anyone just goes in and goes through the motions is disserving to all.

I know I am realistic, but I expect our Bears to go in and compete as hard as they can no matter who they are playing. We got beat handily, but not because our players did not compete hard. Our staff and team went in with the idea that sooner or later Maryville is going to lose a game, so why shouldn't it be us. And if you knew our coach you would know Bradley will not go through the motions just because of "who" the other team may be. And while I focus my argument from the Bear perspective, I am sure it is the same for every other team.

I just don't see a HC change being made at DB unless Graham initiates it.

The "powers" are more concerned with having a great band and facilities than addressing the football program. While most everyone is frustrated this season, no one is going to take the job away from Graham. He is too well respected as a person to be the one that demands his removal. Again, he may decide that it is time to move on from coaching.

Best of luck to DB in the playoffs. The Blaze is going to be quite a challenge for the defense.

If the Super32 is here to stay, then over the next 2/3 years there may be enough fan and parental backlash to force a change.    However, if  the Super32  Experiment ends sooner and we go back to where DB is having 9/10 win seasons against mostly local teams then the majority of fans will get amnesia and just be thrilled to the gills about being the best in the Tri-cities....  Although there doth appear to be a new sheriff in town at the other 6A Tri-cities school...

    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.    Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
