are you Boohoos snot snivlin brother or are you from the cumberland plattoe.....

looks as if everyone involved has a 50-50 chance of winning.....actually Booger corrects Booger

you left out AA, AAAAA, AAAAAA. so let Booger help your bias whinin pot stirrin self out with what you intentianlly chose to leave out to make a worthless point

it appears that in 3 of the classes; there is a 50-50 chance that it could be a PUB or Private Champion.....it also appears that in the other 3 classess; there is a 100 % chance of Champion....prety sure that makes it bout 75% combined chance that a PUB will win a Championship......thats Math w/ Booger

A Championship - Greenback(Public) vs NCS(Private)

AA Championship - Trezevant ( ) vs Marion County ( )

AAA Championship - Alcoa(Public) vs CPA(Private)

AAAA Championship - Pearl Cohn(Public) vs Knox Catholic(Private)

AAAAA Championship - Sevier County ( ) vs Independence ( )

AAAAAA Championship - Maryville ( ) vs Ravenwood ( )

AA, AAAAA, and AAAAAA have purposely been left without a PUB/Private title for you to feel in just to help us all out.....we are all waitin

Looks like you are the whiner!!! Why are you so scared of a split? Afraid of equality? Afraid little Johnny will no longer have the advantage? Come on strip oops I mean step up!!!

And there is no privates in 5A or 6a because those schools along with privates have all of the power. Easier to trample on the smaller schools!!

Nothing its just a name. I don't even know why it's a magnet and I went there lol. Now most of metro schools area open zones because of the law about equal education opportunities.

A magnet school is a public school offering special instruction and programs not available elsewhere, designed to attract a more diverse student body from throughout a school district. I had buddy in college that was zoned for Hume Fogg and went to PC for football and the variety of classes that PC offered

I'm pretty sure that with the new rules, you will get your wish. I don't see how the privates can stay. To do so would mean telling some current athletes they can no longer play. Will see soon how many privates leave DI.

I think a lot of people have forgotten the TSSAA has addressed this situation and now like you said we have to see how everything falls into place. I agree with you, it will be tough for private schools to stay in Division 1. I think this will affect more public schools than some think.

It is going to be a hard decision for some and an easy decision for others. Ironically, I think that the more privates that move some that are on the fence will join them.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
