RIVERDALE PARENTS THREATEN BOYCOTT OR MOVES

I know he was. Was mainly addressing Coach A's metro Nashville/Williamson County defenders and the one or more assistant coaches on here trying to save their jobs.

Last time I was in a Holiday Inn, it was at 'Happy Hour' after a gun show about 20 years ago when 7 of us were sitting around designing Ronnie Barrett's 50 caliber sniper rifle on a cocktail napkin. Yes, I had one or more adult beverages that night. So far Ronnie has sucked in about 30 million of our tax dollars for no more than a scaled up Browning Auto 5 shotgun! I will also admit I have made a dollar or two from it.

That was in a happy time long ago when Riverdale actually had a actual winning football program that feared NOBODY! I wish I could say that today. As I see it the HC is even afraid of his own players now.

Do I sound bitter?

YES I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!![/quote

Couple of things.

First, your coach "feared" BA because he lost to them so much he fought to change HS sports in TN forever.

Second, your program got players from all over middle TN including Cookeville. You were the public school version of BA.

Lastly, mentioning issues with players of color is a pretty bad thing to do on a public message board. Maybe if you gave your name it wouldnt be so bad?

He has given his name several times.

No worries. Its just an unfair subject to mention on this type of forum. Bad for the kids, coaches, community, program, and families.

I am not saying malice was intended by any means. It's just one of those "claims" that shouldnt be raised or discussed even in the best

circumstance.

Exactly 'why' should it not be raised?

If it is a problem the program is having, it should be brought in the light of day so it can be corrected for the Players. Frankly if the coach has a problem like this it should be exposed and dealt with immediately.

I mentioned it because I do not want a repeat of last years incident. Was not good for anybody.

If Coach A is in the running for the other job, then Good Luck coach.

'IF' he does get it we should all pray that Nolan has the good sense and NOT make Wells the next HC.

I thought with as many posts as you have , you had to have seen his name before. And I

'm not afraid to post my name if need be. He and I have been friends for quite a while. I remember Riverdale putting a "whooping" on Oak Ridge a few times.

I am Ronny Hayes and I have "WILDCAT PRIDE'

Yes I have seen his name before. The other poster wanted to call him out and I was just letting them know, he has already done that.

I am waiting for that return matchup with Oak Ridge. There were some good games years ago even though Gallatin came out on the worse end most of the time.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
