Yes I have seen his name before. The other poster wanted to call him out and I was just letting them know, he has already done that.

I am waiting for that return matchup with Oak Ridge. There were some good games years ago even though Gallatin came out on the worse end most of the time.

Yeah I called him out because he brought race up on a message board. Whats his name? Post it so those of us who dont know can see who the guy is making the claim?

Not trying to stir anything up but doesn't Coach K have some baggage from a couple years ago?  Staying in-house would be problematic.  Is there anyone that has any experience around a winning program that was headed in a positive direction?

 

I like Coach K's enthusiasm, he seemed like the only one that was ever fully awake, but not sure this would be the right move with his limited experience.

You seem worked up. Over nothing. I bring up race quite frequently in regards to my team and the lack of skill and speed we obtain .. Which you can associate, speed and skill, specifically to one ethnicity more than others. It's just the way it is, it shouldn't be such a touchy subject to people.

I know he was. Was mainly addressing Coach A's metro Nashville/Williamson County defenders and the one or more assistant coaches on here trying to save their jobs.

 

Last time I was in a Holiday Inn, it was at 'Happy Hour' after a gun show about 20 years ago when 7 of us were sitting around designing Ronnie Barrett's 50 caliber sniper rifle on a cocktail napkin. Yes, I had one or more adult beverages that night. So far Ronnie has sucked in about 30 million of our tax dollars for no more than a scaled up Browning Auto 5 shotgun! I will also admit I have made a dollar or two from it.

 

That was in a happy time long ago when Riverdale actually had a actual winning football program that feared NOBODY! I wish I could say that today. As I see it the HC is even afraid of his own players now.

YES I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I've figured out who you really are...saw you in that movie "Shooter"...talking 'bout "paper patching" ...one question, you still got the shovel?

  Just remember that eccentric and crazy are the same thing...eccentric requiring a college degree (or three).

You completely missed the boat on this one. His comment was regarding racial tension/issues with the coach. Thats the hottest button to push in todays society. If you believe thats not an issue then so be it but I'll just side with the rest of America on this one.

 

Mentioning racial issues with a coach in this forum is reckless in my opinion.

No i was simply giving an example of how bringing up race shouldn't be an issue, in regards to racial tension... It exists everywhere. Whether you like it or not.

      Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.

      RR, you think that changes this year, or at least improves? I know they had a couple of talented young receivers last year that made some plays later in the year. Defensive back was a struggle against any team that was above average at throwing the ball.

      You would think with football just three months away more would be talking. There's only so much a person can say about someone allowing the field to get painted without asking their boss who would have said ((((((((  ALE NO ))))))))) or all the other BULLS#!T they've done as they lead Maryville High into the new age of WOKE in a conversative town. I'm ready for some football news without hearing something coming out of 825 that Power Munger has done to cap off the week.
