What will hold OR back in 2016??

Lost 2 senior QBs and a great Kicker/Punter.

Thoughts on defense:

DE Kayon Waters Sr returning starter

NG Jack Borchers Jr returning starter

DE (candidates Adarious Cox Jr or probably someone I haven't even considered)

OLB Chase Kimbro Sr returning starter All-Region

ILB Kendyll Clark Sr returning starter All-Region. I think should have been region LB of year.

ILB (candidates: Tripp Chinn Jr, Tre Jackson Soph)

OLB Caleb Jackson part time starter on D. All-Region. Jacob Gross also played a lot.

CB Tee Higgins. 'nuff said.

CB Jaret Miner. Sr. part-time starter

S Adarious Simpson Jr, returning starter. All-Region.

S (candidates Caleb Martin Jr, maybe one of the super sophs - Jeremy Mitchell)

 

Lost great players in  Alcorn, Warmbrob, Manookian, Devon Middleton, and Gavin Warrington, but it looks like a whole lot a good ones coming back. Jeff Miner will have another solid defense.

Also heard we are gonna lose three coaches. Heard Phil Thompson and Jim Younger weren't coming back, I know Winston Russell is old cause he's older than me. HaHa!

Was in Nashville over the weekend and put the word out that we needed a 5 star quarterback. 

 

But we got WILDCAT PRIDE

True. Hearing they still want to be part of the program. "Get back" coach or taping ankles, but will not be full time coaches. Well deserved rest.

 

As with every year, I'd love to see Les Jones come home to coach.

Senior next season. He'll definitely start on OL.

I hate seeing that. Kids these days need better guidance. Too many kids decommitt too easily. Why not wait until you're sure and then actually COMMIT! A commitment means very little in this day and age. College coaches must hate recruiting. Regardless of all that, good luck to Tee no matter what he does or where he goes.
