Well, our boys did make the state tourney last year going 30-4. We won the AAA championship and 1998 and 1999(back to back). I believe our girls have made the state 12 times and the boys have made the state 12 times. Not too shabby.

Rebels certainly have a shot but honestly once you get past Oak Ridge in Region 2, it is a total crap shoot who will emerge as the second representative in substate. It could be Maryville, Karns, Powell, Central, Hardin Valley, Farragut, Bearden, Heritage,... it just depends who peaks at right time in region tournament. I think any of the above teams could beat any other on a given night. There may be a couple more teams that you could throw in that mix, too.

Absolutely. Haven't seen West play this year, but they always have some good athletes.
