Geeessshhh. We never have had an outlet here that sold Murphy's book, so I just order mine when it is released. No big deal.

I'm still confused after thirty years of writing a book that Murphy don't have a hundred places to sell this at in East Tennessee. Why go to the trouble of doing such an in depth book and not make it available all over the state. I guess I will order mind shortly since Hastings in Maryville is either restructuring or going out of business.

The book Pilot has is a lot better coverage on all the local teams for sure. I would like to know if other areas of the state have anything like that in their areas on football teams. I picked up a good book one time when I was in Chattanooga a few years back that had real good info on all the surrounding teams in that area.

I called Hastings to ask about the magazine. I also asked them if the store was closing down and they said no.

You should of seen the face's of the good people that worked at Ryan's and came to work that morning to find the doors locked and a note that they have went out of business. That's how most of these places will do their people in order to keep them there until the ship goes down. Very sad.
