Knox Catholic is staying D1? Is that true?

From what I heard, they are staying D1 and are possibly trying to "fight it" legally (not really sure what that means).

Fact CC.....remember when they were 3AAA and couldnt get thru the playoffs and dropped to 2AA.....they will for sure b dominating the soccer now; if they can survuve Greenville

I guess I should pay more attention to the football board. Looks like Catholic is staying D1 for the same reasons ND didn't go D2 earlier - travel time and costs.

Of the 32 teams in D1 A-AA Regional Tournament, next year 9 will be A, 14 will be AA, and 9 will be D2.

which 9 do you think will be A, and which 14 do you think will be AA?

If they are remaining division 1.....shouldn't they play automatically in the largest division?  Considering they are still operating under a different set of perimeters?  It makes sense for them to play in the highest classification instead of remaining where they can virtually be handed the title every year.  You talk about watered down......but you can easily use the term monopoly, too.

They will be operating under the 80% multiplier, just like all of the other private schools that stay D1.

amazing greenville wins the championship last year and more than likely win it this year and some PUBS r still boohooin bout handlin a ptivate the trophy every year.......cant wait to b comin on here after the PUBS lives have been freed of privates, so I can read bout the same ones complainin bout the open zones bein unfair

Looks like they put boys and girls classes together, I didn't think that was the method.

 

Looking at it closer, the breakdown looks messed up even with it together. Maybe some teams are just starting next year so they were included.
