Metro Rankings

The point here is that Pearl-Cohn didn't refuse to play anyone. Northeast, Ravenwood, LaVergne, Mt. Juliet, and many other schools at the 5A and 6A level (and some D2 schools) refused to play Pearl-Cohn. The next two years Pearl-Cohn is a Class 3A sized school. Nobody can call them out for running from a game because I know Coach Brunetti has been calling people begging to play for the next two years. I guess he will just have to go to the TSSAA site and ask Hoover, AL to play for the next two years since the "big boys" are being so selective that they will not play them. It's not like we are using the Z-Plan System where it's a race to overall wins.

Bigger 5A, 6A schools have zero benefits when it comes to playing a 3A school.  Some times its more than just the game. Bigger gates is one example of that.  If Pearl wants to play all those schools why don't they just bump up in classification?

Raven it's as much my business as it is yours. I'm a metro supporter. Have been in one way or another for nearly forty years specifically in the CR area.

All I'm saying is you can't say in one breath that CR wants to play the best and the next sentence mention CC. And I don't care if it's a scrimmage or game. You want the best you don't play them.

Seems like PC and Brunette quieting all the trash talkers.

Naw they don't wanna lose to a 3A school not bout a gate cause we bring fans.

Not as many as county schools.  Like i said there are no benefits.  If you win you gain nothing. if you lose you gain nothing, so whats the point?  Pearl will always be successful in the lower classifications and then will get boat raced  in the end as usual.

I'm talking to u fb26. The Whole TSU thing was set up by coach wood. CR was hosting a scrimmage at TSU this summer. The previous yr went to Columbia to scrimmage Columbia central. Whooped them pretty bad, this yr coach extended a rematch to CC, the coach for decline. So we was suppose to scrimmage PC there, but the CC coach call back and said they would come. PC said we was tryn to dodge them

ooo ok i understand what your talking about but we not talking about a scrimmage. We talking about a actually football game.

    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
