This is ridiculous. I’ve heard the rivalry has gone too far and it needs to cool off. It’s only a rivalry because let’s be real East Nashville and PC are the same people. It’s a lot of PC alumni who have kids over here. Heck the coach’s are PC alum. It’s healthy competition and two metro flag ship programs. I can’t stand the fire chickens but I do respect y’all work.

You had to be drunk but appreciate lmao. You speaking some facts but at the end of the day this battle is one sided. One side is a go and the other side wants nothing to do with the other side.

100% still to the day the largest game I’ve  seen was East Vs PC at Vanderbilt. Nothing like it. Literally filled up the home side of the stands. The atmosphere was crazy. When done right things can be achieved.

Best high school football game I ever saw. And I believe the only time East has ever beaten PC.

Coach Brunetti, Coach Stewart, Coach Woods, Coach Broome, and their staffs do a great job and don't have to be shy about playing anyone.

Pearl-Cohn, East Nashville, Cane Ridge, and John Overton should do a three week double-header of games in Weeks 1, 2, and 4 or 6 of the regular season and play the games on Saturday evenings at Vanderbilt Stadium.

It would be non-region for all of them and would be a great way to put Metro Football in the spotlight.

Weeks 1 and 2 would not interfere with college football season and Week 4 or 6 could easily be arranged to where it wouldn't interfere with college football either.

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
