Be careful casting judgement before actually guilty by a court. A few years ago several of you up the road cast judgement too quickly on here and other social media, then come to find out it was an inside job. And anyways, if y'all are so confident about winning this year, then don't worry who plays for the Pirates. All this talk to me sounds like y'all are a tad bit nervous. Can we please get away from bashing kids and coaches and just talk about the positives these coaches and kids are doing. Geesh!

If this young man hasn't been proven guilty in a court of law, I don't understand how he can be kicked out of a school system. I am a firm believer in innocent until proven guilty. Is there some other reason he has been removed from Jackson County Schools?? Just a thought... Or is this school system passing judgement on him before his day in court??

If it were a choice between hiring Mac McCurry and the bunch back or having a kid who was a danger to the community on the team I would choose the former. Lying and acting the fool are not the same as armed home invasion and robbery.

Scottsboro City Schools aren't part of Jackson County Schools. I asked this recently and was told he wasn't actually "removed" from that school system. I don't know why he is here, but I guess we will all find out soon enough.

      I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
