I seen a familiar face in the press box at the game. I'm sure he had a hand in the defensive scheme. Maybe you recognized that scheme it was similar to one of another team last year. The man is a defensive genius IMO.

Yes I talked to him after game. He is one of the best imo. Got to really see him coach when Logan was at all star game.

He said easier to game plan since Logan wasn't there lol. I wouldn't trade him for any defense coach around. Top notch coach and person

I am a bigger Marion County Warrior than you will ever be. I love my boys and when we get jipped I do not like it. I also know we did not show all our best plays in that game. We had some plays last year that we did and we still have not done them. Pitchburg was a better team than I thought but we have higher scores than them. We won 48-6 in 2014 and 62-21 in 2015. You only won this year 24-17 and we were not trying to show all our plays. In the 3 game series we have scored a total of 127 points which makes us average 42 points. The PieRats have only scored 51 total. That is an average of 17 points. We still won the series 2 games to 1 and outscored you during that time with a average of 42 points to 17 points. If we win the series that is the most important thing. You will never beat us like we beat you the last two years either.

4 or 5 years ago we beat you 64-0. The program at this point, state runner up or not, full of talent or not, good foorball team or not, is the laughing stock of this valley. Sometimes there isn't anything special that happens a team just beats another team. South Pitt won, and deserves credit it's that simple. Most Marion fans are very gracious.

I've said it already but I'll say it again Jasper got whipped especially in the trenches... They'll get it fixed and beat Brainerd by 4 or 5 scores this week. Hopefully the Pirates have brought us down a notch and we get focused screw our heads on straight and run thru Boyd and Tyner and into the playoffs

You know as well as I do this game has nearly as much to do about emotions as it does talent. Especially when the talent levels are closer to one another. With that being said I believe we played down this past game and SP was riding about as high as they could have been. You've seen it before in this rivalry just like I have. I still believe we are a top team in 2a and will win our region and advance a longgg way in the playoffs. As for your earlier question I'll simply say maybe and leave it at that!

Marion County, has a good team, but they aren't as good as they were the past few years. They miss some key players and The Ross Factor.
