So I was playing around with the numbers on here and here is what I came up with in 6A:

West

White Station

Whitehaven

Southwind

Memphis Central

Germantown

Collierville

Arlington

Cordova

Houston

Bartlett

Middle #1:

Overton

Ravenwood

Brentwood

Franklin

Indy

Centennial

Rossview

Cane Ridge

Middle #2

McGavock

Mt Juliet

Stewart's Creek

Antioch

Lebanon

Wilson Central

Station Camp

Lavergne

Middle #3

Cookeville

Blackman

Oakland

Warren Co.

Riverdale

Smyrna

Siegel

Coffee Co.

East

Science Hill

Dobyns Bennett

Jefferson Co.

Bearden

Hardin Valley

William Blount

Bradley Central

Farragut

Maryville

Morristown West

Heritage

McMinn Co.

Cleveland

Walker Valley

That is 48 schools. How do you think these regions would break down? Would it be 6 8-team regions? If so, what do you do about the 10 schools out west? Also, there are 12 teams in the east area that I don't know how to break down. I'd be interested to see how you guys would break it down. I don't know much about east/west, but I broke the middle regions down by #1 #2 and #3 the way I might see them playing out. Agree/disagree?

I don't see Tssaa doing just 4 teams in a Region with everyone making the playoffs and 9 in another. Bearden (farthest East ) would more than likely be in region 1 with it being 5 and 5 in region 1 and 2. Region 3 and 4 will change too and not be 4 teams in region 3 with 7 out of region games and region 4 with 9 teams and 2 out of region games.

This is what I have come up with, if you divide the memphis teams into two regions, things could change in the west, but i think the east will stay the same with some adjustments to the middle.

This is what it may look like if you divide Memphis into two regions, like i said maybe southwind decides to play up to give each region 5 teams. If not, in one region everyone automatically makes playoffs. It will intersesting to see what happens! just my opinion who really knows how many teams will be in each class at this point. Pure speculation! Not real sure how Memphis will be seperated, just know one will have five teams and the other will have four. Indian is much smarter than me, so maybe he can lead us in the right direction!

No, but initially they were suppose to get Madison and early college high students...it was brought to the local newspapers attention and subsequently changed. Madison athletes can now play at south side high school

Ok, I never heard what school those students would play for and thought if North Side got both schools, that's a lot of kids that don't count against their enrollment. I'm surprised the TSSAA does not count the students from these schools as part of the receiving school numbers. I wonder how many kids from Madison plays at Southside?
