I though so but didn't know. I finally talked to two different people by accident this weekend that knew the skinny on why the junior high was not having their best year as normal. One has a grand kid playing and the other had a kid on the team and neither know each other but the stories were pretty much the same.Nothing that GQ can't fix though.

Thanks. I looked at the Tom Taylor You Tube account, and the last video coaches show was about 9 months ago. It looked like he did D-B, SH and E-Town last year. Hard working man from WVA.

Not sure if  that post was for me,but I wasn't offended by that.I'm a Greeneville boy myself and was  just speaking about the wide brush a couple of other posters were painting Maryville fans with.I can't imagine how some fans across the state would handle the great success  these guys have had .

I heard that and they were wrong....One was Spurrier, one was Paul Hornung, and the the other I can't recall for the life of me, but it definitely wasn't Red Grange. Don't know how the heck they got that lol

I honestly believe Spurrier was the only one. You can look at all past Heisman winners and none of them were from this state or even near. We need to pass this along to CB and let him find out what they said.

I haven't been in Tennessee long. And I understand that you Maryville fans are proud of you're team. And for what they have done yall should be. But getting on here and insulting a fan base or school shows NO CLASS. Way to act like champions and represent you're city and school.

Good stuff.I'd admit to being the worst speller on coacht and unable to put together a sentence sometimes.Might  even think I'm better then a few people when it comes to geography.Thats when Red Rebels  pulls out the NET,tricites,knoxville or east TN map .However,as a group over the years,I'd have to say these Maryville fans are as classy as any group you will find that has a team worth writing about.
