I honestly believe the Pirates should have won that game. TD called back down close 2 more times I think. I do think we blew that game

Playing a good 3a team the very 1st game isn't ideal.  I think on week 2 or 3 the Pirates would have pulled that game off.

Nobody said CA was scared but that doesn't change the fact that "It's coming".

I guarantee you that the 2007 Pirate team would have boat raced Nashville Christian last year.  CA game would have been over in 2.5 minutes.  But this is THIS year and its coming . . .

I just don't see a mercy rule coming unless you've picked up several players since this summer's 7 on 7 and lineman's challenge.  I was there to watch all 4 teams compete, and I saw Fayetteville beat South Pitt in both the 7 on 7 and lineman's challenge, and then saw a shell shocked South Pitt team go to the bus instead of shaking hands after it was finished.  I say it will be a close game, but look for Fayetteville to rematch with Columbia Academy next week after beating South Pitt by 3.
