I voted! I prayed

Today is the last day of the America so many of us know. Regardless of who wins it will change the country our ancestors fought , died and sacrificed to create and preserve. There is one thing you can do that is as important as your vote if not more so, PRAY!  Pray that the outcome will not be our will, but Gods. Pray that whomever is elected will lead this country with morals, values and God at the forefront of every decision they make. If I had them, I would pass them out to go with your I voted sticker in big letters "I prayed sticker".I am asking for Gods absolute blessings and mercy on this country. We have a duty to vote, but the privilege of prayer, don't forget to do both We don't have the answers but God does. We will either be a part of his perfect plan or apart from it.

Blaze45, I totally agree.

That is what we should do every election. Maybe that's the point and why we're in this mess. We stopped praying. The Jews in the OT did likewise and look what happened to them.

What we seem to have been given is two supposed Christians who don't act like they are, two agnostics, and one LDS.

    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
