Elizabethton has my respect. By far the best 3A team we have played. Great game

Great game, #5 for Elizabethton kept them in this game. Both defenses played a great game. Some missed opportunities hurt our offense and kept this a 4th quarter game. Love the effort of our players and coaches...great solid win. Now Alcoa should have their motors running full speed after a very competitive game.

It always hurts to lose a game at this time of year, especially against a dynasty by so few points, but it always helps when you get the respect from the victor!

What a great game. Well done E-Town! You have a very strong well coached team. Your O and D lines are as advertised and a slew of college prospects no doubt! Number 5 is the real deal and could play on any size team in this state!

Russell and the D-line played unreal. The difference EHS had no big plays and had to work for everything and Alcoa had 2 big plays and got 10 points out of them. Alcoa did miss some passes but Eliz got some penalties at awful times

That false start penalty just after the start of the fourth qtr on 2nd and short was a dagger.

Never recovered from that.
