SP is getting the kind of athletes that they are used to having and will be the favorite next year in my opinion.CF and GB will battle to be the first loser on this side.Cloudland is a year or two away from challenging those two.

It,ll take Cloudland one more year but its a coming.

Coalfield will be right in the thick of it next year....all their skill players are juniors...that qb for them is a unbelievable player

All our line is back too if not mistaken, especially 54 and 59! I expect it to come down to same teams as this year in our area. Good luck to The Kees this year though!

I honestly don't see anybody coming within 2 touchdowns of Coalfield this year. The Jackets should be absolutely unreal this year with one of the best quarterbacks in the state in all classifications!

I agree and with CA being out come next year, not that I think they could keep their run going, it will be very winnable for Whitwell. Pretty weak region other than Fayetteville. Not trying to bash the other teams in the region, they just don't make much noise come playoffs.

We taking Fayetteville down next year. You heard it here first

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
