I don't know who is who. I just know folk luv to hate on Lions. And we just do what we do. Win. Nope... We not won any Gold yet. But we that much closer. Keep slugging away Lions.

Yep. Lions too slow. Weak opponents. Can't run. QB can't do nothing. Wildcats were gonna roll. ...Well.. Crow now being served. Offense wins games, Defense wins championships!!! Our starting D has not been scored on in the second half by anyone all year!.. Yet.. We not that good with a cupcake schedule, so says doubters & naysayers. Amazing. Perhaps we made a few more believe the hype. And Dresden still not done. Next is Greenback! Got unfinished business Lions! ...btw, WC, let's make this a yearly event. Whatcha say? Y'all were exciting with potential. Scored in a hurry! Made our team feel what we usually do to others. But we got back up off the mat with a vengeance. Lots of things went our way tonight. This IS the Year Of The Lions! (Anyone else having fun yet?)

Great Post. Yes Dresden beat Trenton twice, Beat Union City twice. They were the better team. This is their year. Our district is made of winners. Our district was not as strong top to bottom as it is usually but combined we gave a great Dresden team just enough looks and competition to prepare them for Wayne County. WC people did not respect Dresden because of what they thought was a week schedule. The schedule was not that weak. As you see Dresden is just that good. They have played on another level all year. Now our district has a chance to bring home 4 Gold balls in 5 years. Go Lions all the way from Peabody.

Yates is a beast! Great underated defensive player! Winn and Yates great 1-2 punch. McDonald is a an all state defensive player. I can see McDonald playing corner D1 easily

Wildcat89. You see what we have been saying now. WC would have won 2nd place in our district this year. There is no doubt in my mind about that. But our district is loaded from 1 to 4 . You only had Huntingdon. They are always good. But they are just one. Our district has won several gold balls and Dresden is primed to win another one. Your mistake was judging Peabody on their drubbing last year against NC. That was one game. Dresden has been playing a good Peabody and UC team and Humboldt for years now. You guys did not scare them. The score was not an indication of how much Dresden dominated tonight. It could have easily been worse. but hats off to WC. A good football team just got beat by a great football team that has been battle tested over the last 3 years.

Better team won tonight. Yates may not be fastest back but that kid is a load. Super impressed with Dresden D. Called #11 name all night long. Will be glad to see this group of seniors go for both teams. Maybe Mustangs might have a chance in 1A next year
