Those 9 medals from Region 1 are all from only two schools unfortunately. Last year I think we had 10, but it was spread between four schools with DB and Jefferson both being represented.

 

5 of those medalists will be returning though. 4 from SH. 1 from TN.

Unfortunately in the wisdom of the TSSAA they changed all the divisions... not just public and private. I would encourage you to do the math yourself. Take a look at winners and place winners from all divisions and regions. Midle TN won 68 % of all medals.l alone
