No dog in the fight. Warren guy here that didn't want to drive to Cleveland. But the refs handed out a handful of technicals and an intentional to Bradley players. Number 10 kept cussing at the ref after getting a T. On the bench at the end he kept dropping f bombs. Then after the game is OVER a couple of Bradley parents have altercations with ppl and have to be escorted out by security. One of the Bradley Asst coaches was yelling,"This is Bullsh$&" no stop. Last year when Bradley upset Sparta in the region those Sparta lods showed class and their fans did too. Bradley acted awful and it is a direct reflection on their head coach.

The Bradley coach yelled several times to his players "Don't lose your composure"!!! They weren't listening. They cursed the refs several times. #10 was saying over and over "this is effing bullsh"(im just quoting him) even when he was walking past our players after the game. I was there and was close enough to hear it. Bradley could have won if not for their absolute lack of sportsmanship. They ended our run at 29-0 last year. We took it like a man and shook hands.

Maybe some did but I've known a few of them all their lives and I'd never believe it if you said they were cussing anyone. I'm 100% sure the Brown kid didn't he's as good a kid as there is anywhere. Others I'd say it's possible in the heat of the moment.

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
