tnchad1980
Smith Co travels to Lafayette for the first game of the season. Last season the Tigers grounded the Owls 34-12. Who takes this game and why?

Vent
Macon's pass defense is very suspect. Had several pass interference calls last week against Gville. If Macon couldn't cover Gville, no way they cover King and Shepperson. Smith wins 35-20.

croz6110
I look for a barnburner, especially if Smith can get the ball in the hands of their playmakers. They weren't able to do that last year.

IronOwl
This will be a high scoring game. Both teams have the weapons on offense. Smith County has King and Shepperson but can they get the ball in their hands? Macon has Carlisle and he will have around 250 yards of total offense by himself if not more. Should be an exciting shoot-out where the defensive coordinators pull their hair out.
