Waverly host Huntingdon

Watched 1st half of Camden/Waverly game. QB and RB are legit! Lots of screens/quick passes from Waverly. Mustang secondary better be ready this week. Have to cover and tackle. Camden didnt do a good job of that. Huntingdon will have to play lights out to beat the Tigers

This is the game of the week in "small class football" across the state this week.  Both teams are playing well and should compete for big things come November.

This will be a good one no doubt. I saw waverly in our scrimmage with them and have watched Huntingdon on tape. This game will be decided by less than a touchdown win for either team. My pick is whoever has the most turnovers will get the L.

Huntingdon is having to throw alot more than ever because the line just isnt what they are accustomed to. As long as Swenson keeps the playbook open past page 1 I like the Mustangs chances. It will definitely come down to turnovers/penalties. Way too many penalties against McKenzie. LBs and DBs gonna have to be lights out as Waverly likes to spread you all over the field. By the way no way Pearson wasnt player of the week. He almost had 200 yards passing and over 100 rushing.  Jackson Sun has a man crush on Haywood

And it just frustrates you that waverly has so much success with it. They have a pretty good back that can run between the tackles as well. Huntingdon, speed will help them no doubt, but you better be ready to tackle in space as waverly going to spread you out. I still think this one comes down to turnovers or who has the ball last.
