Not really a claim to fame. It was a big game with a lot of hype that lived up to the expectations and then some. For those of us who got to experience that as a player, it was an experience that we'll never forget. 

That was one of best games I ever seen Wb play I was a senior that year that game was hype I'll nvr forget it

It was definitely the best WB / Maryville game I've ever seen ... I really wish that WB would of brought the same intensity in the Playoffs though , WB should of went a lot farther that year .

I appreciate you saying that, because I completely agree. The thing that hurts the most about the playoff run was the missed opportunity. One of the things that will stick with me forever from the Maryville game that year (among a lot of things) was in the post-game handshake line, when the Maryville players were congratulating us on a well-played game and encouraging us by saying "kick butt the rest of the way and we'll see you in Murfreesboro." It's still painful that we didn't live up to our end of the bargain, but I am happy that you guys got the job done.

Since when has Maryville ever gone easy on WB? I've seen them go for 2, do fake punts/field goals, and go for it on 4th down when they were already up big.  I've also seen them beat us worse than they beat Heritage in years when we beat Heritage by 30 points. Easy on us? My ###
