This could be one of the most interesting games next week to see if the Govs can beat the Panthers to avoid being the only team in the schools 39 year history to lose every game.  Just remember the 94,95,96 and 2008 teams came close but avoided this catastrophe with one win in those seasons.  What's everyone thinking on this game. Will the Govs sink to an all time new low or will they pull this one out  and save the town of Alnwick.

Don't know anything about Stone, but Sonny Moore's power ratings (which are surprisingly accurate at this point in the season) have the Govs as a 1 point favorite. Hopefully the offense found a spark last night and that carries over into Friday. It would honestly be heartbreaking to me to see us go 0-10.

Hard to believe with the schedule they had coming in to the season that they are still fighting to get their first win on the last Friday of the season....I think the players will find a way to get this win.

I Senior coach buying bathroom fixtures at Home Depot today for new construction.

WB will win. The offense has gotten better. They scored 27 last night and really should have scored at least 2 more tds. As bad as the season has been there is reason for optimism with all the young kids playing on friday nights and the success the jv team has had.

Having said all of that, I think the future of WB football will come down to whether they will bite the bullet and bring in new defensive coaches. Some of those guys have been there since the later years of Gregory and Ridge and they are just not getting it done. The defense has sucked the past 6 years or so. You arent going to win many games when you are giving up 40+ every week. We only gave up less than 40 once so far this year. Not good....

Yep. Our backups needs the work. That's for sure. Gonna be a long season next year. Glad they finally got a lot of playing time against that offense.

Changes will happen. You're gonna have reason to be fired up again next year. 7-4 with a trip to the playoffs next yr.
