Nope.

This years team at the being of the season team that was pretty young, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but has got A LOT better!

Next season the offense will return a lot, but be young on defense.

This years freshman team is great. Their impact has ALREADY been a big help. In a couple of years watch out!

Same for us also next 5 years will be crazy good.

Not really I'll match our freshman team with any in the state. But either of them start for us, couple do get playing time tho. So no that doesn't speak volumes to me, thats saying Alcoa talent pool is down. But in two years y'all freshman that start will be really ahead of the game.

That’s where you know absolutely nothing about Alcoa football....Alcoa’s pool is very good. At least two-three feel at most positions. Most would start at any program in the state. The freshmen are just that good...

keep thinking what you are thinking tho. It will just give you more to talk about at a later date, I hope...

I used to say that, and then we got moved when those fruits got ripe...

Edited to say, make an Alcoa / CPA first game of the season happen next year.  We miss y’all!

No doubt. .....CPA was a great matchup!

At least you got Booger to banter with. Ha!

I'd love to see CPA and ND in the Championship!

    • Yes region 1 is extremely weak but a # 5 seed out of region 2 has no business in the playoffs either.
    • They've had some great talent over the years. They usually don't whip no one but can be tough to stop on offence.
    • Could be a lot of reason from what I’ve seen so far.  The lights wouldn’t turn on at Smyrna last night and had to move games to Blackman could be a reason or maybe he is talking about how on some of the games on NFHS network the camera placement was absolutely asinine. ( had a camera set up right in front of a net and couldn’t see crap)
    • If Gordonsville can manage getting through these next 2 games without using him it will be ideal. ER was the last team to not have to pitch their #1 till the state championship i believe. Worked out well for them but they also had one of the best 1A staffs of all time that year. Only allowed one run the whole tournament and it was in the 7th inning.
    • And he’s not even their #1. Lights out performance. Gordonsville is in the drivers seat with their #1 arm available throughout the tournament.
