Greeneville came out tight and acted like they had never played in a big game before.  Greeneville's soft coverage is going to get their butts beat.  You cannot sit back and let that QB have all day.  Gville is so scared of Martin's legs that they are just letting them march it down the field.  Gville had the ball and the chance to tie it 21-21, and Ballard decides to go into a shell and run QB draw 4 times in 6 plays and Gville punts it right back to them.  As i have said before, when things get tight, Ballard gets ultra-conservative.  Well that aint gonna work tonight- you gonna have to outscore AC because the defense is showing no signs of stopping them.  Gville has DB camped under a deep ball and he somehow misses it, it lands in AC WR's arms and he goes 60 yds for a TD.  We will see if Gville players and coaches are cut out for the bright lights in this second half.  Thus far, AC is by far the better team and Gville is lucky they are only down 10.

I think Greeneville is fortunate to only be down 10 as well. Gonna find out if they really deserve to be called "Maryville-lite".

Stone age level setup, but you can give it a try - http://greenevillefootball.com/listenlive/broadcast.htm

Don't waste your time with that garbage stream.  You might hear 2 plays out of every 20 the way it cuts out and rebuffers.  You have a better chance of getting pigeons to run notes back and forth between Gville and wherever you are.

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
