I don't think they are close to Catholic and don't think they could beat Beech. I believe Springfield played poorly today and that made them look more dominant. This is not the Springfield team I saw last week. JMO I'll agree with you 100% that Springfield played poorly and didn't show up like they did last week. I'm still extremely proud of the young men from my alma mater of Springfield and making it to the championship game and in no way am I knocking any of there accomplishments. I will agree to disagree with you on the other tho.

It's funny how that works out most of the time.

Sometimes teams play bad. Looks even worse against a great opponent.

DevilMan03
You guys never quit and I like that. I’m sure it was hard for the boys to have to experience that but it will only make them better. Hopefully that drives them to get back next year for a rematch with the Greene Devils and of course Mr.Football! 1

They have not gotten much respect all year and have used that to push themselves. We need to use this game to build on and hopefully return to this game with a different result. Enjoy your championship

In no way should they hang their heads. The loss tonight will be tough, but I hope tomorrow they can realize what they did accomplish. In regards to being the best team in the state, have you seen the talent level of the top 6A teams in the state? Maryville and Oakland are light years ahead. That's in no way disrespecting Greeneville. As I said, they have a great team and solid program. A lot of people may not want to hear it, but there's a huge difference in the top of 4A and the top of 6A.
