Throwback Thursday:  20 years ago the Pirates were led by Eddie Moore in this rivalry defeating Boyd Buchanan twice that year. Once in the regular season then again in the quarterfinals.   Anyone remember the scores to those games in 1998? 

41-6 then in playoffs I believe 34-10...Just remember many on team were disappointing after 2nd meeting cause everyone wanted to beat them worse than first meeting because they said we sharpened our chin strap snaps. This was the first year they really started to improve. Their 98 team had much more talent than their 96 team that went undefeated in regular season. Then their 99 team was probably the 2nd best team in state that year besides us.

Football time in South Pittsburg. The weather is perfect. I can't wait to get there tonight. Going to get there early bc I want to take it all in tonight.  Getting goosebumps already!!!

The only bad thing about tonight's game is we have Sale Creek next week, so starter's need some repetitions to stay sharp, so I see maybe early 3rd qt., but some subbing of some in between that time.
