Man man man talk about dog fights over the years. Pc won the last matchup in OT but this year will be the underdogs.

The game is at CPAy and they bring back a lot of experience from last year. You guys lost a Mr. Football finalist. I would agree that on paper CPAy would be the favorite but you guys ain’t no joke and I wouldn’t be surprised if y’all won.

Yall I stopped worrying about on paper years ago. I like to see it and year to year Cpa brings it. #4 is the best thing I've seen around these parts in a min

CPA is blessed with 31 seniors this year. Stratford, Ensworth, and Smyrna are all good teams but we’ve been able to rotate a lot of players through the games.

PC is well respected, especially given they won the last two years, and feels like the first big challenge for CPA this year.  Scary guys on defense and quickness and big play potential on offense.

Hoping for an exciting, injury-free game.  It will be a good litmus test as to if this 2018 CPA team is as good as I thought they’d be back when most of the kids were in elementary school at CPA.

This game will tell a lot about both teams. The only test PC will have until they meet Covington in the playoffs. The last tough game CPA will have until the playoffs.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
