A lot of fans are worried about the score but I learned something a while back and this is a secret. If you can't score. You can't win. Keep that one under your Pirate hat. Great day to be s Pirate

You are correct, playing the best QB you will face all year(our little guy just had 17 Tds in 5 games) and winning doesnt look good for any of the OTHER teams you MIGHT face.Good job looks like you all are unstoppable!

Greenback and Whitwell will both have better overall QBs than Lipscomb. DL QB could spin it but didn’t have the wheels to escape when pocket collapsed. The Tigers and Cherokees both have QBs that present that problem and DL definitely didn’t have the WRs the Cherokee’s have or the backs Whitwell have. Having said all that it is doubtful either of you have the defense they (DL) have.

Yes our D is just starting to catch up with the O,So i would probably agree with you.Only difference would be is our offence would pose DL a little more problems than yours did.All about matchups in all these games. You all played a good team and won,at this point that is all that matters! One game at a time and keep pushing to our goal. The OS game woke our kids up in a big way just like i think that game will for you all.Keep winning and i hope we can do the same.Makings of an EPIC Semi final game!

He’s not better throwing than your QB. That kid is not a great dual threat like the Greenback and Whitwell QBs.

Old Pirate says them Circle Fly fellers sure put up a scrap. Figure, the Pirates got a tad of reality during feuding. Ifin yous going to play like champions, yous got to practice like champions. Obvious to the skillet heads that played the game, this ship of Pirates has got a long way to go. The off week, allowed the banged up to heal more but the offensive was not clicking all night. The Captain was certainly pissed and called multiple time outs to chew butt. The regular season mid point supports theory Pirates are no where near where they have to be to bring home the gold. Punting, kicking, coverage & receiving has plenty room for improvement. Leastways, Congrats to the Pirates on the “W”

But was it a win? You said there could be a upset! WRONG and I’m sure it’s not the first time you experienced that feeling.

Tough DL team put up a fight but like it has already been said, “ if you can’t score, you can’t win”! Defensive battle all night but DL broke and SP scored! I’ll take the win and move on!

    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
