Wk5: Greenfield hosts Dresden

With so many injuries to Lions in two games now, sooo many of them starters, there's lots of changes in Dresden personnel, and they're not "clicking together". Time to see what Lions are made of. CONGRATULATIONS to Greenfield. They won & won BIG. Honest injun, Lions got spanked. Just no other way to explain it! WC won, now Greenfield, 2 teams that haven't beat Lions in awhile.  Time for a check up from the neck up, and an inner chiropractor adjustment. And no way to be fair towards refs, this is beyond belief, around 25 penalties (big ones) on Lions. Just 3 on them. No way can that not be sane, fair, & just...But it is what it is. Must rise above such things. Time to regroup Lions... DO NOT QUIT! DO NOT STOP BELIEVING! RISE UP & OVERCOME THESE SETBACKS! It's the path every champion goes thru. 2 mins left, Greenfield scores again. 49-13. ... Region 7 is wide open now! We'll see how it plays out. Take your whooping, learn from it, .... WHAT!?! WTG Lions. Breakaway score on big run. 48-21. 25 secs left. Here we go.... squib quick... they almost break away, our smallest guy tackles him. THAT gets everyone excited! History made for Greenfield. They got a spark & a hope now with this win. And actually some good players. ... GO LIONS!

According to the radio station Dresden had 20 penalties. Half those were personal fouls or unsportsmanlike penalties. That is very undisciplined football if the radio guys reported facts. Tinkle and Hadler are usually pretty straight forward especially John Hadler.

I don’t even think this has happened as I know of. Dresden comes to PHS next week. Was looking forward to a good game, but looks like now it’ll be another long week.

I think Coach has tweaked some things on defense.I think Lake Co wins this region beating both West Carrol and Greenfield.

b nice to people on ur way up cause they get to take shots at u on ur way down. dresden is undisciplined and has been for years. i surprised there weren't 4 sale signs in yards this morning. dresden been dirty for years and now is catching up to them. the win at all costs and ignore breaking the law days need to end. why u think dey not disciplined on field? dey don't get disciplined off the field bc they be football playas. character counts.

Back in my playing days the only thing we were worried about playing Dresden was if they were gonna try to snap our legs or something

It does appear that some tweaking has been done on both sides of the ball.  Hopefully LC will peak at the right time this year.
