Would enjoy travelling to Rhea county . great atmosphere. Much better than traveling to Kentucky or Kingsport.

I would drive up 27 from Chattanooga to Dayton in a heartbeat. It is a straight shot with no turns until you get to RCHS. Several good places to eat on the way up as well. Plus, I don't have to drive on up to Spring City. I got caught in a speed trap there on my way back to Oak Ridge after a OR vs Rhea basketball game. It is the only speeding ticket I have ever gotten. darn the Man! Just kidding. RWR!

JUST A REMINDER...Oak Ridge can't schedule an opponent until the Region games are scheduled. For example, OR may want to play Anderson County but our non region weeks don't match up with theirs.

I have finally thought of the perfect opponent for Oak Ridge. The Wildcats play Clemson but Tee Higgins and Trevor Lawrence play for the Cardinal and Gray. And , yes I am being serious. Not really.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
