As far as field condition, looks pretty good as of last Friday. There was some slipping going on for sure. Hopefully no more rain between now and Friday.

Huntingdon by 3 scores and then beat by Cornersville IMO.  It will be close but think Cornersville will when the battle upfront on both sides being the difference. Funny thing is we have played Greenback Whitwell (scrimmages). Cornersville Mt Pleasant and Huntingdon.

MTP has a defensive player #46 that will flat out destroy an offense! If he squares up one the Huntingdon boys their night maybe over.

That may happen for sure but I promise you Huntingdon has seen a player like #46 Ethan Beasley. They probably have seen a Zyshon Alderson either.

I’m sure they are good athletes, but I find it hard to believe that Mt. Pleasant has athletes that are any better than the ones they have seen. One other thing, MP has not seen team speed like they will Friday night. These Mustangs hung 41 in the 1st half on Moore co last Friday and 2 of the leading rushers only had 2 or 3 carries.

It’s hard to imagine they haven’t seen some really good players since they have faced Waverly and Milan. Waverly has some kids about as good as anyone. If these two kids are that good on the same team then it sounds like Mt. Pleasant may have underachieved a bit this season.

MTP , like others have said...if they show up as good MTP....Huntingdon will have their hands full! Zyshon Alderson is a Mr Football semifinalist at 6’1” 210 lb RB....Beasley Is a Monster on Defense! He has had multiple 20 tackle games....in 2 games they lost...he didn’t play...He hit a kid at a Summertown so hard , he knocked himself cold out!

They lost to Summertown and Franklin Grace. They barely beat Moore County. They are just an average team.
