MM76 I'm pretty sure East Nasty is not Brian Waite. It's not his style. You can say whatever you want about coaching ability but Waite is a respectful coach. He's much more respectful than East Nasty has been on here. Now East Nasty I am pretty sure is someone close to the team.

I'll say it again. I was impressed with East Nashville's discipline and character last night. That was an emotional, hard hitting game with the season and high school careers on the line. It would have been easy for tempers to flare and get out of hand. Never happened though. East even joined Fairview midfield for the postgame prayer. From the stands they appeared to carry themselves with class and integrity. I'm not overly familiar with the program, but I'm of the opinion that how a team handles adversity and defeat is a reflection of the head coach.

I guess given how EastNasty talks smack and you guys assuming he was a coach or close to the program I was expecting something different.  I get the feeling EastNasty isn't really such a bad guy but he sure has ruffled some feathers. And now he's got a mouth full of them. Crow feathers!

Congrats to Fairview. When we scrimmaged you guys back in the fall (Marshall Co.) Iknew you guys had a solid squad.

How did you Mr. Football perform?? Through the grapevine I heard East thought he was just an average player playing in a weak district.

Thanks District! I've not seen the stats but he had a big night on both sides of the ball. Coach Hughes said last night on the radio that he looks like a skinny Barry Sanders. Lol. He's definitely a baller and far from average.

That is the key word coached. Every year east has more athletes than other team but coaching is the problem. East should have won by 3 tds. They were too fast for Fairview but they would never run the ball outside.

That Just shows east doesn’t have any coaching with all those D1 prospects they have.

While I agree that Fairview won the coaching battle I'm not sold on that East should have won this game. Obviously they have supreme talent but Fairview won in the trenches. East made some stops but overall couldn't contain Fairview's offense. Our O-line and downfield blocking was on point and East struggled to slow us down. If anything I think East would have benefitted to run the quarterback more.

Nevertheless it was a very competitive, exciting game. Much respect to East and congrats on a great season. They beat some really good teams this year.

I won't say that because it'll take away from what Stratford accomplished Friday. Stratford had good gameplan and for whatever reason we couldn't adjust to it. They flat out hit PC in their mouth point blank.

I like you FireBird80! Class act my friend. Stratford kids deserve credit and you give them credit where credits due. Hope you and your family have a wonderful thanksgiving and christmas my friend!
