Henlee has 1007 yards and 17:0 TD/INT with a 69.5% passer efficiency.

Those are some impressive stats. Hope our DB's can be more disciplined in the passing game than last year. The 2 big pass plays killed us. We have some aggressive DB's that like to come up and lay the wood, as you do as well. That can come back to bite you if you aren't anticipating pass first.

I believe we will run more pass plays than last year, simply because if it's not there Ensley has the ability to tuck it and run for a touchdown. A lot of the times, you would never know we were running a pass play because Ensley has the vision and awareness to get to the outside without skipping a beat if noone is there and score on a long run.

I hear that Cornersville is asking other towns to make the 2+ hour drive to come support them at Huntingdon. I expect alot of West TN folks to come watch this game. Everyone in the county hates Huntingdon honestly bc they want to be where the Huntingdon program is. Expect even more folks from Benton Gibson and Madison Co who want to see a great football game.

Our quarterback, Henlee Mitchell, will be the key to the game for Cornersville. He is the most improved player for Cornersville from last year till now. He’s thrown away the “game manager” label and is truly a playmaker now. I believe he’s up now 16:0 as far as his TD:INT ratio.

I think we have the best backfield in 1A Whitaker, Woodard, and Warren. I just can’t fathom them being slowed down.

I don't know about that. # 7 is about as fast and shifty as they come. # 13 is fast smart and tough. Both very good receivers also. #9 is 6' 1" 195 lbs and is the fastest one in the back field. No one has caught him all year. If you guys are better than us in the back field then you're pretty dang tough.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
