That’s some good stats for those young men. Especially for not playing a full game.

Unfortunately that would be a negative.

Don’t think it’ll matter too much anyways. Doesn’t take long to get used to it in pregame. Im gonna say whoever’s linebackers play the best will win. Of course the D-line will need to show up but the LB’s will have to scrape and make some plays. Whoever has the stiffer D will win. We all know the offense on both sides will score. Just who will get the more timely stop. Hopefully there’s no issues with the chain gang like other games around the state lol

If this game wasn’t 4 1/2 hours away we would go watch it.

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
