You too. If you will i pull for you

I stated that, I would make it today. What makes this post is some Haywood fan turn on the team, call them sorry,so right now they're playing with a chip. They are not looking pass Springfield like they did last year.

A lot of our fans did turn on the team sadly when we were going thru our rut. It added fuel to the fire most def!

Truth be told we always play with a chip because once we get out of our region most picks are against us, does not matter though.....

The Jackson writers that write for The Sun both picked Haywood. The other writers that are part of The Tennessean family all picked Springfield. Bottom line it really doesn't matter who the favorite or underdog is, or even what the fans say. All that matters is what the 22 players on the field think and do. I look for a great game tonight. I just wish the rain would hold off until around 11 or so but that looks like wishful thinking. The wind could be a factor as well. Here's hoping for an injury free and non weather affected contest tonight. Go Jackets!!

Haywood teams don't play with a chip, because the home fan don't call them sorry, until this year, some of the fan said it to the kids.

Fans can be so crazy. I've loved hearing some of ours this year criticize the coaches and coaching moves. I just want to ask them sometimes if they knew where we were playing at the end of the season last year.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
