This is a battle of two undefeated clubs. One club is use to winning and the other one is making a rare appearance in this semifinal game. I will be gracing all of you people in Whitwell with my presence this week. I have been out of town at several speaking engagements around the state this season. I saw these young lads from Whitwell during the annual Sequatchie Valley Jamboree at my once proud alma mater. I noticed several young lads that night and have kept a close eye on them this season. A win tomorrow night against the young lads from Greenback would award instant legend status to several of these young lads wearing the red and white. #31, #15, #20, #3, #4, and #7 all are fine young lads that are close to achieving legend status. Whitwell also has a young lad walking the sideline that has done a fine job this season directing this club. Make no mistake, Whitwell has a good club and will be a tough contest for the young lads at Greenback. It will do many of you people a lot of good to simply breathe some of the same air that a legend like myself breathes in order to gain an infinite amount of knowledge from a true living legend. I am also hopeful that Sportman will show up for this contest so he too can be around a legend like myself. Sportman, if you are able to come to this game to watch these young lads, I am hopeful that you will bow down once again. It doesn't go unnoticed by my many, many followers.  My entourage should be arriving in Whitwell around 6:00 Friday night. I would like to thank the Marion County sheriffs department for providing me an escort to the stadium. These young lads always take care of a legend like myself when I decide to grace you people with my presence. I should be on the track area in front of the home stands signing autographs by 6:15. Rest assured, I would like to sign as many as possible, but there is only so much a legend like myself can do in one night. I would also like to say a special thanks to the doctor I have spoken with in Whitwell that has set me up in the press box tomorrow night. A legend such as myself can't simply set with you people during the entire game. I have tried that in the past, but it is simply unfair because you people rarely pay attention to the game because you are usually watching me evaluate the young lads throughout the game.  It is my hope that several young lads achieve legend status in Whitwell tomorrow night when these two clubs go to battle. I hope everyone has a safe drive to the game. Hopefully the young lads from Greenback have a nice drive down the valley for this game. I believe the young lads at Whitwell should take this game tomorrow night and get one step closer to that elusive state championship. Always remember achieving legend status is a choice!

Winner of this game will definitely be determined by whoever sets the tone in the trenches. D-line and O-line must step up in order for one team to win. But another determining factor will be which defense will be able to contain the QB? Ashworth and Hanley both are elusive. When Whitwell needs a big play, who is gonna step up and bring down Ashworth. When we need a big play, who is gonna step up from Whitwell to stop Hanley? All comes down to heart from here on out. Trust in the game plan and what you’ve been taught and GO PLAY FOOTBALL! Regardless of who wins, I want to see two teams playing the game with relentless effort without quit until the final whistle. I’m sure the seniors on both sides will be ready.

Don’t be so sure. Last week SP pretty much seem to control the game up front, but couldn’t stop the deep ball and it ultimately cost them. Petty for Whitwell will be the best player on the field on defense. It should be a good game.

Enough pressure on Ashworth and they won’t be able to lob up fade routes. If he’s gonna complete downfield passes, he’ll have to be protected.

Not sure where GFD is wanting to eat but that will be my choice.I will text for sure for a time to meet if we do.Same for you Wingo!

Cant go wrong with Lands in dunlap, sue Bob's in xroads or Johnny's hook and grill.  All three are great but Johnny's would be my choice.  Great fish, fried pickles and such.  Good luck to both teams, hoping the tigers can force some turnovers and make history

First congrats to both teams and I honestly think the winner wins it all by at least 2 tds. Last week, SP had their way with Whitwell's line and gave them a big dose of smash mouth football. SP pretty much shut down the running game but the only problem was they couldn't defend Whitwell's playmakers in the receiving game. I know what Greenback has and I know what Whitwell has. Losing the big receiver does hurt GB but he was not the only threat to throw too. I can see Whitwell winning by 7 if they are able to out physical GB. However, I think GB can create pass rush with just their down linemen and cause havoc in Whitwell's backfield all night long. The prayer balls that were thrown up for grabs last week will be picked or knocked down by older, better athletes this week. I have GB winning by 3 tds IF they turn it over 0-1 times. Good luck to both teams I'll be reading updates from Oakland.

I agree 100 percent. Teams that have gotten pressure on them have not been able to stop the 1 on 1 plays. You guys can

You’re heading to the Boro too?
