I will go ahead and put his one to bed for you....

1. Know your signals.....the signal is for Illegal Participation.

2. What happened on this play, is during the play, a receiver went out of bounds on his own, and came back into the field of play to participate (block) this is against the rules.

15 yard penalty, replay the down.

The same thing was called earlier in the came when a receiver went out of bounds on his own and came back in to try yo catch the pass, which was knocked down by an Alcoa defender.

Man you guys are dumb.

This is not illegal participation or illegal touching. This is an illegal man down field. Byt yes there were two illegal touchings and both of those were on Alcoa's side of the field. Maybe you need to learn what you are talking about calling someone else dumb.

This video angle gives a better line of site to the actual play. And, why the Officials make the call they did. First off Upperman's #2 makes contact with Alcoa's #19 before the ball had gone 10 yards down field. (Illegal procedure) Alcoa's #19 did get a hand on the football making it a live ball. After that contact,..... an Upperman player and Alcoa's #19 scramble for the football. The ref runs up the the pile and sees Alcoa's #19 in possession of the ball and signals it  Alcoa's ball.  Alcoa's #19 gets up and hands the ball to the officials.

Thanks for the Video Shane! B)

If you slow the video down and play it right the Alcoa boy goes down and touches the ball before he gets touched go ahead and fast forward a little and you will see what truly happened. At this point #2 for Upperman is not touching 19 and we all know that 19 didn't come up with the ball.

You all are correct our player made contact before the ball was touched by Alcoa player.

it was a good game by both, I think Upperman surprised with how tough they played them.

Beeshane you better look again and better get to the next clip of the video #2 goes high and the Alcoa boy goes toward the ground to get the ball and in this clip the Upperman boy has not touched him till after 19 touches the ball. Hence there wasn't a flag thrown on the play because the player didn't touch him until after he touched the ball!

Better learn your calls. Illegal touching he does his shoulders. Illegal man downfield he touches his head as he does in the video. You are indeed incorrect

It is ILLEGAL PARTICIPATION idiot. TWO hands on top of the head.... That is why it is FIFTEEN YARDS.

Touching and illegal downfield is only FIVE.

Again, know what you are talking about before you open your cake hole.
