Dunlap, Baxter, they're all the same one hick town.

After reading your posts, I am going to take an educated guess and say you are either still in high school or about thirty years old, and  still living in your mother's basement.  You know, one of those failure to launch kind of guys.

If you think this is 2013 your clearly clearly mistaken..I will admit everyone outside Baxter has Alcoa as the favorites . But this is a much better coached. Better athletes from top to bottom. Your not going to run over upperman like in the past..You keep think it's going to be a blow out like last time and you will end up like Pearl Cohn and Red Bank. Your coming to the hive this time. Remember same coach you only put 21-0 on sequatchie back a couple years ago and this team is on another level than that team. It's going to be a fight. This is the championship game. Upperman ain't scared.

I would hope at this point in the season that Lowerman is not scared or that would be just sad. With that being said I think season after season Alcoa has shown just what we do to teams like this. Think what you want in you fairy town hopefully you can even sprinkle some fairy dust or honey on the hive to help out but in the end the outcome will be the norm Alcoa to the ship where it matters win by one point or 60+ still the same ole same ole hope you guys are ready for basketball and the hive arena. Serious question I heard the hive has not so par amenities so should I use the restroom before I get there?

We ready...Don't bring up other sports because the only one you have a chance in is football lol. One day your going to get humbled probably by the Tssaa. We all know Rankin left riverdale because he couldn't bring in outside talent anymore there. Wonder why he landed at Alcoa? Didn't see him dominating like that at Smith county. No he and your program wouldn't be where it is without out of county talent. Everyone in the state knows it. So blah blah all you want. If you had to work with the talent in the radius of your school you would be just like everyone else. Word on the street is it might happen sooner than later 8)

Upperman is open zone. Just sayin. :thumb: Rankin is a great coach. However, he has a great staff that was there before he got to Alcoa. Alcoa has also had tradition and great community support for as long as I can remember. Plus, the feeder programs are second to none. Murvul does a great job as well. Heck, I’d bet on the Alcoa Middle team against some of the high school teams I’ve seen. Not sure about the word you are hearing, but I wouldn’t bet on it bro.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
