A lot of people love Gaddis so it would be shocking.Maybe if someone talked with him and ask him to step away for whats best for Oak Ridge he might.I think a lot of people want to wait it out until he retires out of respect for what hes done and his love for Oak Ridge. But saying that for over 2 yrs now all I hear is talk about bringing Rosser back where he belongs.I love Gaddis but would love to see Rosser come in here next yr and take over as the SHIP is starting to look amazing and a fresh start with a great young coach would be awesome.A lot of Oak Ridgers still talk with Rosser and will want him back until somebody else takes us to State

I’m not trying to bust your bubble here friend, but he’s not leaving Central any time soon. He enjoys where he’s at and I couldn’t see him leaving to take over a program where he’d have to do another rebuild. I truly think the only way he’s ever leaving Central is if a College job comes calling and if it did and he left, I couldn’t blame him. But I talk to him often and I don’t see it.

I know many of us are not happy campers right now so if you want a  " be happy, don't worry " good feeling moment go to YouTube and put various search entries about Tee Higgins at Clemson. Tee has blossomed off and on the field and Oak Ridge should be proud on our Hometown hero.

I read on 5StarPreps that they pick DB to beat Oak Ridge, I think the former Sports Writer for the OAK RIDGER Mike Blackeby made the pick. I have no problem with DB being favored.

I am interested how practice have gone this week according to CoachT members and Coach Gaddis tomorrow from Pizza Hut.

I don't know Rosser but whenever Gaddis is done at OR, Rosser would be stupid to come to OR unless it's just for money. The talent difference between the two schools is alarming right now and they have linemen too.

I don't know Rosser personally, but given his age and the KCS pay structure, I wouldn't be shocked to see someone like him move on to a much higher paying job at some point. There are a LOT more lucrative HS opportunities out there.

I see your point, I’m just relaying my message to everyone. He’s building something special at Central and I just don’t think he’s gonna up and leave for another High school but I do think he’d take a College Job. Plus, let’s be honest that Oak Ridge ain’t what it used to be, heck the whole county ain’t what it used to be. AC gets by because usually outside of Greeneville and Elizabethton they play NOBODY. But back to Coach, I just don’t think he’s leaving anytime soon, we got more hardware to collect haha :D

He will likely be offered one of the DII private jobs at some point.  The pay raise may be hard to turn down.  But he is very happy at Central right now no question.  Plus all he has to do is beat South Doyle and he's in the state semifinals.

I agree, he certainly looks comfortable right now. He's done a tremendous job, and from what I can tell, he's really invested himself in the community which has paid off incredibly well. OR isn't what it used to be, but relatively speaking, there is a lot to work with, and I think he would be very successful at a program like that.

I just don't think you're going to see many Joel Heltons in this era. So many of these young coaches have itches that they need scratched. Just ask Matt Lowe. Heck, I see it in my profession and a lot of others. Working professionals just don't stay in one place for long anymore, and a lot of that has to do with the way pay structures have evolved in recent years.

Remember, join Joe and David Clary at Pizza Inn from 7pm to 8pm tonight for Coach's Corner. You can watch it on local Cable Channel 12 or live on YouTube, search BBB 12.

Should be a good one. Hoping he addresses the offensive situation.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
