 prediction

Haywood 42

Greeneville 20

Just a math thought. HC is giving up 17.8 points per game (very good) over 14 games. Greeneville is scoring at 50.6 points per game. So we are going to hold the Devils with a two time Mr. FB at QB, 2 D1 wide commits, a 3rd wide committed to UT as a long snapper to 20 pnts. On the other hand you are going to score almost 7 points over your season average 35.7 points (strong) against a D that is giving up 7.4 points a game. Makes sense to me your prediction.

The last time Greeneville gave up 42 points was to the 2012 4a State Champs in Fulton.   I think it will be a good game but Haywood will not put up 42 on the Devils.  I see it as a 35-21 type game unless Haywood turns the ball over and then it could get Ugly.  For Haywood to have a chance they are going force some Turnover, the only problem is they have only forced 2 TO all year.

Now that’s funny and shows pure stupidity on your part lol

It’s pretty rich that a prediction for a lopsided devil win is just good ole fashioned rootin’ for your team but a prediction for a lopsided tomcat win is “stupidity”. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the Greeneville village idiot is a self proclaimed expert on what constitutes stupidity

Not sure where you got that number...Haywood had 2 picks just against Springfield

Sounds like it, Haywood has forced a lot of turnovers this season

(edit: looks like that stat most likely came from M*xPr*ps)

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
