It will never happen at Nissan... as someone mentioned earlier no field turf. I agree with BCB... the size of the Tech is perfect. Tech, Middle or Vandy... we don't care. Like my boy Ulysses

i think this shows just how close the top 5-6 teams in 2A were this year. Peabody is definitely the best, but i think any of the three teams from the east would have given them a game. The same thing

Congrats Peabody! Our Defense played well but without Baines and Rankins at 100%, we had too few options on offense. Dyson Satterfield plays tough and runs hard but he can’t do it all. Great season none the less for both teams! Didn’t think either team played championship ball today. A lot of mistakes on both sides. 

I’m proud to be a Yellow Jacket. On to the off season. The gram work has been laid for the underclassmen, they just have to continue to improve! Go Jackets!

That doesn’t matter. They are not changing grades now so they don’t have the players. But some will say i am just hating. But it is truth. There may be a few pay backs next year. IMO.

As someone else said you are barking up the wrong tree with who you think GBO is. It’s no secret what my connection is to who you think it is, and he my friend has always worked hard in that program. He was a Jacket , and will always be one , no matter where his life takes him. Get your facts straight

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
