Did he say homegrown :roflolk::roflol::lol:

98% of the kids are homegrown kids. The nucleus has been playing together for a very long time.Some new kids have joined, but MOST of the starters on this team have been playing together since MS and many since little league. 2 offensive starters have joined us in HS and those same two kids also start on defense. The other 9 starters on each side of the ball have been doing this together since they were 6-7 years old.

Thanks for the clarification. I was curious about this as well. It seems most of these transfers aren’t even starting. Is that accurate? Unlike somewhere... never mind. LMBO

    • And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet,city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.
    • Sad deal. Hate it. So the coach that kicked her off is now fired??
    • Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
